Wifivia is a free, browser-based generator for print-ready Wi-Fi signs. Enter your network name and password and Wifivia typesets a clean, gallery-grade Letter-size sign with an embedded QR code — ready to print in seconds. No apps, no accounts, and your password never leaves your device.

How Wifivia Works

  1. Enter your network name

Type the SSID guests will see in their Wi-Fi list.

  2. Add the password

Wifivia encodes a standard Wi-Fi QR code as you type.

  3. Set a custom header (optional)

Add a warm line such as “Welcome Home” above the details.

  4. Print

One click outputs an exact 8.5 × 11 in sign — no second-page overflow.

Frequently asked questions

Is Wifivia free to use?

Yes. Wifivia is completely free and runs entirely in your browser — there is nothing to install and no account is required.

Is it safe to enter my Wi-Fi password?

Yes. All generation happens client-side on your device. Your network name and password are never transmitted, stored or logged.

What size is the printed sign?

The sign is formatted for US Letter (8.5 × 11 inches) and prints edge-to-edge without a blank second page.

Will the QR code work for guests?

Yes. It encodes a standard WIFI: QR code that iPhone and Android camera apps scan to join the network automatically. WPA, WPA2, WPA3 and open networks are all supported.

Does it support WPA3 and hidden networks?

Yes. Pick WPA3 and the code is emitted as T:SAE rather than silently downgrading to WPA, which is what makes some codes scan but fail to join. Tick the hidden network box and the code carries H:true so phones can find an SSID that is not broadcast.

Can I use Wifivia for my Airbnb or guest room?

Absolutely — it is designed for short-term rentals, boutique hotels, cafés and any space where guests need the Wi-Fi quickly.

Can I customise the sign?

You can set the network name, the password and an optional header such as “Welcome Home”. The typography and layout stay gallery-grade.
